We handle all the paperwork
You sign a private deed of sale: you transfer the bike to us for free or for a symbolic fee, so we can recover the still-usable parts. You also sign a proxy authorising us to take the frame and plate to our partner authorised dismantler: the centre issues a scrapping certificate and PRA deregistration in your name.
- Service available for scooters and motorcycles above 125cc.
- Once the bike has been collected, no return is possible.
- Pickup is at no cost to the owner within Lombardy. Outside Lombardy, a distance-based fee is agreed.
- Scrapping is performed at an authorised partner facility. OnlyParts manages the pickup and the documentation (private bill of sale and proxy) on behalf of the owner.
- In specific cases (e.g. recent or valuable bikes) OnlyParts may offer to buy the bike after a technical evaluation. The offer is optional and not binding for either party.
- At pickup we need: registration document, ownership certificate (if registered before 2015), valid ID, fiscal code.
- Our team briefly inspects the bike at pickup. Pre-existing damage should be communicated when booking.
- The customer must guarantee the bike is accessible at the agreed time. Extra costs from access difficulties may be charged.
- The service is valid for complete bikes including all main parts. We may decline pickup for bikes with missing parts or significant damage.
- We may decline pickup for vehicles with peculiar conditions that would make scrapping at the authorised facility difficult. We notify promptly.
- If the bike doesn't meet the requirements, tell us when booking — we'll help find alternatives.
- At pickup the owner must be present to sign the private bill of sale and the proxy authorising delivery to the authorised facility.
- The signed proxy is essential to authorise the partner facility to proceed with scrapping and PRA deregistration in the owner's name.
